About Me

Amanda Jaggers is a business startup investor, director, and self-described creative caring capitalist in New Braunfels, Texas. Jaggers is currently a member of a private equity team and is invested in a number of businesses in and around the local area.

Jaggers currently owns and oversees several local properties, including buildings on Mulberry Avenue, Natures Way, and Gruene Parkway.

Background

Amanda Jaggers has lived and worked in Texas for much of her life. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jaggers attended school in the community of San Marcos from kindergarten to eighth grade. Jaggers and family then moved to the small town of Lexington, Texas, where she completed high school in 2003 and graduated as one of 72 students in her senior class.

Jaggers enrolled in Texas Tech University (TTU) later that year, becoming one of just 10 students from her graduating class to attend a Division I school. She began her TTU tenure as a civil engineering major, only to change her field of study several times (finance to real estate to biology) before transferring to Texas A&M University in 2005.

Amanda Jaggers completed her undergraduate career at A&M two years later, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2007.

Career & Family

Following college graduation, Jaggers began her career at the Houston-based ConMed Linvatec, where she became the first Sports Medicine Representative for the company's orthopedic product line.

Amanda Jaggers got married in August 2008 and began a family with her new husband the very next year. Jaggers would soon dedicate herself to raising four children, currently aged 12, 10, 7, and 5, respectively.

In 2010, Jaggers and her family relocated to Denver, Colorado, though they would return to Texas (Midland) in 2016. Jaggers moved to the New Braunfels community in 2018, where she and her children have resided since.
